The event brings a program packed with music, magic, and activities for all ages.<\/p>\n<p>The official opening is scheduled for this Friday, featuring two iconic moments: at 6:30 pm in Terreiro D. Jo\u00e3o V, Mafra, and at 8 pm in Pra\u00e7a da Rep\u00fablica (&#8220;Jogo da Bola&#8221;), Ericeira. Both venues promise to enchant the audience with special entertainment and celebrations to mark the start of the Christmas season.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>the traditional Christmas Market will take place in Mafra and Ericeira<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>One of this year\u2019s highlights is the exhibition &#8220;Pres\u00e9pios de Barro de Portugal&#8221; (Clay Nativity Scenes of Portugal) from the collection of Henrique Casquinha, which will be inaugurated on November 29 at 6 pm in the Mafra Clay Interpretation Center. This display will be open until Epiphany, allowing visitors to explore the richness of this quintessentially Portuguese tradition.<\/p>\n<p>The traditional \u201cChristmas Market\u201d will also be held at Terreiro D. Jo\u00e3o V, in Mafra, and Pra\u00e7a da Rep\u00fablica, in Ericeira. These beautifully decorated spaces will offer typical products, handicrafts, and Christmas treats, creating the perfect atmosphere for shopping and socializing.
