This past Monday AZUL \u2013 Ericeira Mag, digital magazine founded on September 23, 2013, celebrated its 11th anniversary \u2013 11 years of a journey that has always had, and will continue to have, Ericeira as its muse.<\/p>\n

On the 21st of September, the launch of the magazine’s first print edition, showcasing The Best of Ericeira, was celebrated with music and great camaraderie among the AZUL team, readers, partners and Ericeira\u00b4s community.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This free-entry event, held at Boardriders Quiksilver Ericeira, was truly remarkable and unforgettable.<\/p>\n

From 3:30pm, people began arriving at the store, known for its concerts and DJ sets (as a weekend prelude) and for having one of the best skateparks in the country.<\/p>\n

a big thank you to everyone who made the launch party for AZUL’s first print edition a success!!<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As magazines were handed out to those who contributed to the crowdfunding campaign, or purchased copies and tote bags designed for the occasion, illustrated by the digital artist duo FalcaoLucas \u2013 orders are welcome! \u2013, the initial conversations among attendees began to flow.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The commemorative edition celebrating AZUL \u2013 Ericeira Mag’s 10th anniversary (featuring a carefully curated selection of some of the best content published during its first decade) was naturally the center of attention until 8:30pm, but the musical performers played a significant role in the event\u2019s success, not only because of the quality of their performances but also by creating the perfect atmosphere for an event that bridged generations and nationalities \u2013 after all, dance and conversation can also be universal languages.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The renowned Danny Nascimento (Brazilian composer, performer, instrumentalist and music producer) delivered a set that included songs in Portuguese (from Portugal and Brazil) and English, in a highly interactive show where the audience acted as a chorus for longs periods.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, No Mercy Soundsystem’s eclectic and ultra-danceable DJ set, filled with several bangers, lit the fuse for an intense celebration of the last sunset of 2024’s Summer, turning Boardriders’ balcony into a dance floor.<\/p>\n

The first AZUL’s print edition is now available at various points of sale: newsstands, tobacco shops, and more \u2013 in addition to bars, restaurants, local accomodations and ho(s)tels in the Ericeira region. You can also find it with our advertisers and several partners from the Best Points<\/a> section.<\/p>\n

It’s meant to be purchased, read slowly, scan the QR Codes, kept… and reread \u2013 those who already have a copy in hand can surely confirm this.<\/p>\n
