At the end of February, Portugalist website (dedicated to showcasing all facets of Portugal and assisting the foreign community interested in traveling or living in our country) included Ericeira in a list compiling the hottest Portuguese destinations for digital nomads, ranking it fourth.<\/p>\n

Titled “Portugal: The Hottest Digital Nomad Destination”, the website states that “Ericeira attracts digital nomads and expats looking for a small town vibe and which priortises having easy access to the beach and nearby surf spots” It doesn’t come as a surprise that Ericeira has much to offer to those working remotely, whether it’s the proximity to the sea and surfing culture or the tranquility and safety the village provides.<\/p>\n

The article also explores ways to visit Portugal, such as special visas for nomads, and evaluates crucial points for anyone working under these terms, such as WIFI availability, coworking options and accommodation.<\/p>\n
