{"id":53741,"date":"2023-05-02T00:00:36","date_gmt":"2023-05-01T23:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ericeiramag.pt\/?p=53741\/"},"modified":"2023-04-27T11:50:21","modified_gmt":"2023-04-27T10:50:21","slug":"the-6th-edition-of-the-mafra-organ-festival-has-already-started","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ericeiramag.pt\/en\/the-6th-edition-of-the-mafra-organ-festival-has-already-started\/","title":{"rendered":"The 6th edition of the Mafra Organ Festival has already started"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Photography:<\/strong> DR<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In order to celebrate Mafra&#8217;s organ heritage, the City Council organizes the 6th edition of the Mafra International Organ Festival, which started in Ericeira.<\/p>\n<p>Between the 21st of April and the 7th of May there will be concerts in the Basilica of the Mafra National Palace and in several churches in the municipality.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>the Church of S\u00e3o Pedro hosted a concert performed by Roman Perucki<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Portuguese organists of different generations are joined by highly prestigious international artists, such as Quentin du Verdier, Andreas Liebig, Luca Scandali or Roman Perucki, protagonists of the concerts that take place in the Basilica of Mafra National Palace and in the Churches of S. Pedro (Ericeira), Nossa Senhora do Livramento, Santo Isidoro, Nossa Senhora da Assun\u00e7\u00e3o, Enxara do Bispo, Nossa Senhora da Encarna\u00e7\u00e3o, Santo Andr\u00e9 (Mafra) and the Chapel of Nossa Senhora do Monte Carmo, in Venda do Pinheiro.<\/p>\n<p>Mafra International Organ Festival is organized by the Mafra City Council, with the support of the Mafra National Palace and Vicariate of Mafra.
