The exhibition \u201cRetratos Contados de Ruy de Carvalho\u201d or \u201cTold Portraits of Ruy de Carvalho\u201d\u00a0(which tells, through photographs, the story of the 80-year career of this iconic Portuguese actor) is patent at Casa de Cultura Jaime Lobo e Silva, Ericeira, since the 1st of April.<\/p>\n

This collection is presented as a photographic itinerary that shows the most charismatic and emblematic moments in the career of the actor who today, aged 96, is a artist with one of the longest careers on record.<\/p>\n

The exhibition features around 50 photographs from the archives of D. Maria II National Theatre, where the actor made his professional debut in 1947, in addition to others by photographer Ant\u00f3nio Homem Cardoso .<\/p>\n

This exhibition will be on display at the Orlando Morais Municipal Gallery, at the Casa de Cultura, until May 7.<\/p>\n
