Miguel de Alcain\u00e7a and to the Union of Parishes of Venda do Pinheiro and Santo Estev\u00e3o das Gal\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>It is now intended to extend the project to the rest of the parish of Ericeira, the parish of Mafra and the parish unions of Malveira and S\u00e3o Miguel de Alcain\u00e7a and Venda do Pinheiro and Santo Estev\u00e3o das Gal\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>until the end of February, the team responsible for the initiative will carry out door-to-door awareness and clarification actions<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This initiative started as an action for the valorization of biowaste, aimed at domestic consumers \u2013 the pilot project \u201cSeparate More &amp; Transform Better\u201d. Through this Pilot, around 3,500 families in the village of Ericeira were sensitized.<\/p>\n<p>Until the end of February, the team responsible for the initiative will carry out various door-to-door awareness and clarification actions, with the free distribution of a kit for the recovery of food waste, which provides for the collection of biowaste in green bags, turning them into organic compost.<\/p>\n<p>But how does this process happen? Biowaste is collected using specific colored bags for this purpose \u2013 food scraps are separated in the kitchens and placed in the green bag.
