In a recent interview on the \u201cFull Send\u201d podcast, Post Malone revealed that his first concert in Portugal (in 2017, at Sumol Summer Fest, held in Ericeira) marked him a lot. This was the most memorable and fun concert that the American rapper has ever had in his career.<\/p>\n

In response to the question \u201cWhat was the most memorable concert you’ve ever had\u201d, the international star recalled his first time in our country. \u201cIt was probably in Portugal. The energy was crazy! I had never been there [in Portugal]. It was a really fun concert! It was really cool\u201d, admitted the rapper who turned 27 on the 4th of July \u2013 the Independence Day of his native country.<\/p>\n

five years later, both the public and Post Malone continue to keep this concert in their memory<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Austin Richard Post (his birth name) had illustrious spectators on that date, such as footballers Renato Sanches<\/a> – as we noted at the time -, who even shared on social media the interpretation of “Congratulations”<\/a> filmed from the backstage, or N\u00e9lson Semedo.<\/p>\n

A photogallery<\/a> was also published at AZUL, which included three images of his show alongside with a Video of the Week<\/a> with some of the highlights of the music festival, including the concert by the author of \u201cCircles\u201d.<\/p>\n

In Noite e M\u00fasica Magazine<\/a> it was written that on that occasion Post Malone \u201cgave one of the best concerts of the festival\u201d, with an explosion of sound, light and good mood. In an almost prophetic way, this site reported that \u201cHis good disposition spilled over to the entire audience, creating an incredible connection with the Ericeira audience. For an hour and a half he sang his hits, putting on a great party that the audience will never forget, just like himself.\u201d \u2013 Five years later, it seems that both the public and Post Malone continue to remember this show for the best reasons.<\/p>\n

The artist also revealed that he always tries to make an effort to make the audience feel that it was worth buying their tickets. \u201cAll the concerts are awesome! It’s amazing to be able to go to concerts and spread positivism\u201d, admits the singer in the conversation with the presenters of this podcast.<\/p>\n

Post Malone performed in Portugal on three occasions: at Sumol Summer Fest in 2017; in Meo Sudoeste (in Zambujeira do Mar) in 2019; and, more recently, he closed the Rock in Rio Lisboa lineup, in June, before an audience that sold out the Parque da Bela Vista venue.<\/p>\n
