As part of the European Climate Pact, the Municipality of Mafra reinforced its commitment to the environment and the promise of a cleaner planet, publicly making available the measures adopted to achieve climate neutrality.<\/p>\n

All information regarding environmental sustainability commitments can be found online on a platform developed by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), a result of the most recent United Nations Conference on Climate Change, COP26.<\/p>\n

a greener Europe, in order to achieve climate neutrality by 2050<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It is on this platform that the Municipality’s sustainability strategy is shared with the public, in order to provide a better interpretation of the fundamentals that guide municipal action in the defense of environmental issues.<\/p>\n

What is the European Climate Pact?<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is an initiative launched by the European Commission at the European Union level that aims to involve citizens, communities and organizations in actions in favor of climate and the environment, contributing to the construction of a greener Europe, aiming to achieve the goal of climate neutrality by 2050.<\/p>\n

Mafra started to assess and measure impacts to gain a holistic understanding of the main effects that climate change has<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
