Photography:<\/strong> RR<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Sumol Summer Fest music festival takes place annually in Ericeira and was scheduled for the beginning of next July. After the 2020 edition was postponed to this year, it was recently announced by the organization that, as \u201cthe rules for holding large events are not yet known\u201d, this edition of the event will also have to be postponed to 2022.<\/p>\n Ericeira Camping is the usual stage for this festival, whose 12th edition would take place on the 2nd and 3rd of July. Now, the forecast points to the 1st and 2nd of July 2022 as possible dates for the event.<\/p>\n tickets purchased for 2020 and 2021 will be valid for next year<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n The announcement of the postponement of the festival was made on the event’s official social media, where we can read the following, among other statements by the organization: \u201cWe miss camping with friends, going to the beach, shouting out our favourite artist’s name and, above all, the freedom to be ourselves\u2026 We did everything to meet again at Ericeira Camping and welcome another Summer, but unfortunately it cannot be this year yet\u201d.<\/p>\n The festival’s promoter (M\u00fasica no Cora\u00e7\u00e3o) says that the decision to postpone it was difficult to take, but that purchased tickets for both this edition and 2020’s (which was also postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic) will be valid for next year’s edition, without any need for exchange or reissue.
