Although it is customary for these meetings to take place at the Pal\u00e1cio da Ajuda, in Lisbon, on April 22, the stage for the approval of the Culture Worker Statute, financing for the heritage restauration and several other measures to support the art sector was held at the National Palace of Mafra.<\/p>\n<p>Along with other decisions, this Government meeting resulted in the approval, within the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RPP), of approximately 150 million euros destined to the valorisation, conservation and restoration of a list of 46 Museums, Monuments and Palaces that integrate the cultural and historical heritage, national and municipal, of Portugal.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>a major investment will be made in revitalizing and conserving cultural heritage across the country<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A considerable part of these Monuments, Museums and Palaces mentioned for requalification and conservation are in Lisbon, but the National Palace of Mafra and the National Music Museum (which is in Lisbon, but will be moved to Mafra&#8217;s Palace in 2023) are also to be included in this cultural intervention and investment by the Government.<\/p>\n<p>At the press conference that took place after the meeting, the Minister of Culture Gra\u00e7a Fonseca said that this \u201cinvestment in built Cultural Heritage will be a priority of the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027\u201d.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The investment by the Ministry of Culture covers a total of 46 Museums, Monuments and Palaces.<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on get_the_excerpt --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on get_the_excerpt --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":14,"featured_media":32265,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[70],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-43007","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-society"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.5 -
