{"id":42189,"date":"2021-03-16T05:54:46","date_gmt":"2021-03-16T05:54:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ericeiramag.pt\/?p=42189\/"},"modified":"2021-03-12T11:09:35","modified_gmt":"2021-03-12T11:09:35","slug":"municipality-of-mafra-promotes-jazz-cycle-once-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ericeiramag.pt\/en\/municipality-of-mafra-promotes-jazz-cycle-once-more\/","title":{"rendered":"Municipality of Mafra promotes Jazz Cycle once more"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Photography:<\/strong> RR<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jazz is back to Mafra in yet another edition of the musical cycle organised by the Municipality.<\/p>\n<p>In total, there are four concerts of national projects between March 12 and June 11: from the great songs of the classic American repertoire to the new approaches to jazz, giving space to improvisation but also to the sound manifestations that embrace the general public.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Jugalbandish, Joana Rodrigues, Gon\u00e7alo Sousa and S\u00edlvia Naz\u00e1rio make up the poster for this edition<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The shows, always scheduled to 9 pm, are broadcasted live on Municipality of Mafra&#8217;s Facebook page.<\/p>\n<p>The inaugural concert entitled \u201cJugalbandish\u201d, which means \u201cplaying together\u201d, presented last Friday a piano and tabla duo composed by Vasco Pimentel and Niraj Singh, focused mainly on improvisation and interaction between the musicians.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Jugalbandish -
