Mural 18, a networked cultural event shared by the municipalities of the Metropolitan Area of \u200b\u200bLisbon, started on January 15.<\/p>\n

The program in these 18 municipalities (which Mafra is a part of) involves multiple cultural events with online streaming: theater festivals, concert cycles, reading sessions, contemporary dance, mural paintings, exhibitions, writers meetings and conferences, among many other initiatives.<\/p>\n

Mural 18 takes place during the first semester of 2021<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is a way for municipalities to continue the support given to the promotion of culture and local artists, at a particularly delicate time for the entire sector, underlining the importance of culture in the life of communities.<\/p>\n

The initiative, which unites cultural agents, municipalities and citizens in defense of the artistic community and our intangible and material heritage, takes place during the first semester of 2021, in spaces that value the territory’s cultural and landscape heritage.<\/p>\n
