{"id":38417,"date":"2020-05-19T06:28:30","date_gmt":"2020-05-19T05:28:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ericeiramag.pt\/?p=38417\/"},"modified":"2020-05-14T12:31:36","modified_gmt":"2020-05-14T11:31:36","slug":"tapada-nacional-mafra-distinguished-with-five-star-regions-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ericeiramag.pt\/en\/tapada-nacional-mafra-distinguished-with-five-star-regions-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Tapada Nacional de Mafra distinguished with &#8220;Five Star Regions Award&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Photography:<\/strong> RR<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tapada Nacional de Mafra was recently one of the winners of the &#8220;Cinco Estrelas Regi\u00f5es&#8221; award (Five Star Regions Award) 2020, in the Sites and Heritage category.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cFive Star Regions Award\u201d describes Tapada Nacional de Mafra, which is part of a group classified as world heritage by UNESCO, as \u201ca Mediterranean forest with a high diversity of native flora and fauna&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>With an area of \u200b\u200b850 hectares, it is bounded by a 21 km long wall that has allowed the preservation of the natural habitat and the conservation of species.
