Photography:<\/strong> Gaston Bevacqua<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The parishes of Ericeira and Mafra are at the top of the best to live according to a study of Imovirtual, the largest real estate portal in Portugal: actually, Ericeira ranks second, only surpassed by Parque das Na\u00e7\u00f5es, with Mafra ranking third.<\/p>\n Imovirtual scored the 67 parishes of Greater Lisbon (including the municipalities of Amadora, Cascais, Lisbon, Loures, Mafra, Odivelas, Oeiras, Sintra and Vila Franca de Xira) according to twelve criteria and produced a list of the best and worst to live according to the opinion 2,200 people.<\/p>\n The evaluations were made based on the following 12 criteria: safety, cleanliness, air quality, silence, public transportation, shops and restaurants, leisure spaces, educational institutions, health services, cost of living, access and parking.<\/p>\n Within these parameters, Ericeira was considered the safest parish and the one with the best air quality.<\/p>\n The three factors that were generally better classified were Safety, Access and Shops and Restaurants. ‘Leisure Space’, ‘Health Services’ and ‘Cleanliness’ were the factors with the worst scores among the overall evaluation of the parishes in the survey.<\/p>\n The parish of Parque das Na\u00e7\u00f5es was the one with the best score, with a total of 4.38 points on a scale of zero to five. According to the study, security, access and shops and restaurants are the main strengths of that area. Ericeira scored 4.28 points and Mafra 4,19.<\/p>\n Among the ten parishes with the best results, four belong to the Municipality of Lisbon, and the remaining to the Municipalities of Mafra, Oeiras, Sintra and Cascais.
