Have you ever thought about taking a trip to the best beaches in Portugal, in search of the perfect waves? TomTom, the Dutch navigation system company, recently created the perfect route guide for a surf trip in our country: known as the Surf Safari<\/a>, this tool, that will help fulfill the dreams of many surfers, has a “mandatory” stop in Ericeira, the only World Surfing Reserve in the European continent.<\/p>\n

The new platform of the company is called TomTom Road Trips and, since June, it offers two route plans entirely dedicated to the Portuguese roads, being these the Estoril Coast and Surf Safari. The last one goes through almost the entire Portuguese coast, from Oporto to Faro, comprising a distance of 786 km (about 10 hours), and passing by several spots, between Oporto, Figueira da Foz, Peniche, Ericeira and Faro.<\/p>\n

On TomTom’s website you can read: “Visit the frenetic surf beaches of Figueira da Foz, Peniche, Ericeira and Sagres and park the car where the waves are rising!”<\/p>\n

By entering the TomTom’s website, simply choose the type of route you want and select the continent in question. The roads, which are divided into different types of routes (mountain, forest, coastal…), can be chosen and saved in TomTom MyDrive.<\/p>\n
