The winner of the contest organized by Peixe em Lisboa (Fish in Lisbon) gastronomic festival was revealed last Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We had already participated in this event last year, as suggested by some clients. We thought the house already had a good name and that that wasn&#8217;t necessary, but this contest actually gives a great visibility&#8221;, said Francisco Duarte, managing partner and pastry chef of O P\u00e3ozinho das Marias, to Portuguese magazine <a href=\"http:\/\/visao.sapo.pt\/actualidade\/visaose7e\/comer-e-beber\/2017-04-05-Para-se-comer-O-Melhor-Pastel-de-Nata-e-preciso-ir-a-Ericeira\" target=\"_blank\">Vis\u00e3o<\/a>. Each winning piece of pastry costs \u20ac1,10.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our Portuguese custard tarts are made according to a classic recipe that we try to perfect to its utmost.
