More than a tavern, O Lebre<\/a> is an institution in Ericeira. For decades the place, with a view to “Jogo da Bola”, has been a meeting place for generations of residents and village lovers, since the “old guard” who accompanies their domino afternoons with small cups filled with wine to the youth who take over\u00a0the street with beers in their hands.<\/p>\n

The hosts Edward (grandson of Ant\u00f3nio Lebre Dias and grandnephew of Joaquim Dias Afonso, legendary names of the house) and Olga modernized the space and widened the choices with regard to the food and drinks: “pregos” sandwiches are considered by many the best ones in Ericeira, whose typical drink (the fresh spirit or liquor that has been called Aldrab\u00e3o) can also be tried here, as well as innumerous cocktails and other snacks.<\/p>\n

For light meals, nights out or just meetings with friends, O Lebre is, in the image of the famous Cheers, the tavern “Where Everybody Knows Your Name” …<\/p>\n
