June is the month of celebrations and festivities for the Popular Saints. In Ericeira they will take place in Pra\u00e7a da Rep\u00fablica (known as \u201cJogo da Bola\u201d) and near S\u00e3o Pedro Church. There will be music, parades, street markets and, of course, football \u2013 the UEFA Euro 2016 is under way \u2013 everything accompanied by traditional food and drinks.<\/p>\n

There will be street markets and the traditional roasted sardines at \u201cJogo da Bola\u201d on June 17, 18 and 19, 24, 25 e 26.<\/p>\n

On June 18, roasted pork will be served close to the parish church, and you may watch the game Portugal \u2013 Austria, as from 7.30 pm at S\u00e3o Sebasti\u00e3o esplanade.<\/p>\n

The grand finale, on the last weekend of June, will have the popular marches of Ericeira, Encarna\u00e7\u00e3o and Malveira-Alcain\u00e7a parading through the streets.<\/p>\n
