Photography:<\/strong> Miguel Silva-infinity Pic<\/p>\n Translator:<\/strong> Full Circle<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The last month was not easy for the board sports in Ericeira: bad weather, unfavorable winds and uninviting waves.<\/p>\n However, as the saying goes “after the storm comes the calm.” And that was precisely what happened about a week ago: intense rainfalls opened a river that flows onto one of Ericeira’s beaches ; and, as if by magic, sand banks lined up to create the phenomenon that you can check in this photogallery with a dozen still images by Miguel Silva-infinity Pic.<\/p>\n Chocolate waves, of brown and freshwater (the river water overrode the salt water of the ocean), delighting the surfers and bodyboarders who were in the right place at the right time.
