Photograph:<\/strong> DR<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Allianz ASP World Junior brought back to Ericeira the worldly renowned international surfing competitions. The world’s best under-20 surfers battled for the Junior’s World Title – in female and male categories – for five days on unceasing perfect conditions in Ribeira d’Ilhas. An intense dispute under an October that felt like Summer – lots of Sun and the water temperature surpassing the 20 Celsius degrees.<\/p>\n The championship will be remembered for many years not only for the excellent conditions, but for the first surfing world title for Portugal: Vasco Ribeiro won the competition and climbed to the top of the podium after a Portuguese-speaking final between the Portuguese and the Brazilian Italo Ferreira.
