{"id":13087,"date":"2014-09-10T12:00:04","date_gmt":"2014-09-10T11:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ericeiramag.pt\/?p=13087"},"modified":"2014-09-18T10:47:54","modified_gmt":"2014-09-18T09:47:54","slug":"gazing-ericeira-world-surfing-reserve","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ericeiramag.pt\/en\/gazing-ericeira-world-surfing-reserve\/","title":{"rendered":"Gazing &#8220;Ericeira World Surfing Reserve&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Photography:<\/strong> Mauro Mota<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It was in a friendly environment between\u00a0<em>jagozes<\/em> and visitors that the photographic exhibition &#8220;Ericeira World Surfing Reserve&#8221; debuted Saturday on Rua Dr. Eduardo Burnay, at the center of the village.<\/p>\n<p>The waves protected by the honour ascribed by Save The Waves Coalition to Ericeira in October 2011 were celebrated by dozens of people delighted by the stills Jos\u00e9 Guerra,\u00a0Ricardo Bravo, Lu\u00eds Bento e Andr\u00e9 Carvalho.<\/p>\n<p>The festivity started with unveiling of the exhibitors by the Mayor and Vice-Mayor of Mafra, H\u00e9lder Sousa Silva and Joaquim Sardinha, respectively, and S\u00e9rgio Reis, an Ericeira Surf Clube&#8217;s representative. Nuno Vitorino, the President of the Portuguese Surfing Association for the Impaired, was also present for the homage to Europe&#8217;s unique World Surfing Reserve.<\/p>\n<p>In his addressing speech, H\u00e9lder Sousa Silva congratulated AZUL-Ericeira Mag for putting up the exhibition\u00a0with Mafra&#8217;s City Hall, Ericeira&#8217;s Borough and JC Decaux.
