Many visitors from indoors and abroad have come to Ericeira in the past few weeks. Their presence is visible and perceptible all around the organic of the village’s life. The beaches are full; the village is visited by hundreds, if not thousands, of people and the local commerce is pumped, alive.<\/p>\n
All these touristic elements give a glimpse of our land to those who come to live its culture even if for brief days, but that is still important to preserve the regions traditions. However, in these times when visitors blend with the inhabitant, it is also essencial to maintain the vivid memory of what Ericeira was and is nowadays. After all, the village’s personality is made by its people, the sea men, the land ladies and the legendary figures living in Ericeira for several decades.<\/p>\n
