The typical celebrations in honor of Saint Sebastian and Saint Vincent, popularly known as “Festa dos Bêbados” (Festival of the Drunk), took place in January, once again combining the sacred and the profane at Largo de São Sebastião.
Between the hermitage and the musical stage, the highlight is the wine offered to the guests, old and young alike, united in an atmosphere of conviviality that preserves a unique cultural identity.
A living testimony of the Jagoz culture, in which faith, tradition and festive atmosphere come together to form this celebration.
In this video, which begins with the sun shining brightly and ends at night, AZUL condensed the essence of what is also the beginning of the “Jagoz Carnival”.
