Tiago ‘Saca’ Pires is hankering for waves and ready for the beginning of Association of Surfing Professionals’ World Tour (ASP World Tour). Ericeira’s surfer is now recovered from a severe injury that kept him away of last year’s world tour and is now nearer his ideal form to battle with the world’s best.
The video Power On, produced by GO.S-TV and with exclusive footage from Portugal, showcases ‘Saca’ in his recent surfing sessions at home, right before travelling to Cape Verde to practice for the world tour’s outset that will happen in Australia right at the threshold of March.
Tiago Pires remains the only Portuguese in the elite division of the world tour. In spite of being for more than a half of last season’s schedules, the jagoz surfer was granted an injury wildcard, which allows him to be among the sports’ greatest representing Portugal at the highest level.
