The organisers of Sumol Summer Fest are decided on bringing to Ericeira’s 2014 event a range of artists of several genres. Proving that is the confirmation of Angus & Julia Stone‘s performance on the 28th of June, with its folk acoustic soundscapes.
The australian duo is known mostly for its acoustic folk rock songs, a very different genre of the reggae and dancehall that are the predominant genres on Sumol Summer Fest. The duo comes to Portugal bringing some new songs for a future album, which will join 2006’s “A Book Like This” and 2010’s “Down The Way”.
Angus & Julia Stone perform on the same day as Anthony B, Lutan Fyah, Perfect Giddimani, D8 and Cidade Negra. On the 27th it will beBomba Estéreo, Ky-Mani Marley, Protoje and John Butler Trio‘s turn to perform.
The tickets are already on sale for 65€ (2-days ticket with camping), 50€ (2-days ticket without camping) and 40€ (1-day ticket).
Sumol Summer Fest, Ericeira’s current main music event, won the awards for best Medium Sized Music Festival at the 2013 Portugal Festival Awards.
